The origins of JKJ Srl, a historical activity in building and plumbing sector. We went on the market with a team of expert and qualified people, able to give the most satisfactory technical-regulatory information on complete systems for the transport, discharge and storage of fluids in pressure and not.
New stimulating challenges!
We decided to diversify our production activities of pipes extrusion and created an authoritative research group engaged for several years in the study of technologically advanced aids for the accessibility of people with visual impairments.
Taking advantage of a scientific and experimental collaboration with the Italian Blind Union UICI (Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti ONLUS) and the Association of Visually Impaired People ADV (Associazione Disabili Visivi ONLUS), both entities that, by law (DLCPS 1047/1947 and DPR23.12.1978) and by statute, have the task of protecting the rights and interests of blind and visually impaired people in Italy.
We studied also the nature of specific high performance technopolymers in collaboration with:
The Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Polymers established at the National Research Centre (CNR) of Naples;
The Polytechnic of Milan;
And then we experimented and tested with blind and visually impaired users precise and punctual voice systems able of being part of the tactile guides, collaborating with qualified association and bodies like:
I.RI.FO.R., Italian Institute for Research, Training and Rehab
CNT, National Tiflotechnic Centre
Joint Research Centre, Intellectual Property & Technology Transfer Unit of Bruxelles EU commission;
CATTID, University "La Sapienza", Rome;
Company merger.
AntonPlast Srl company merges with her sister JKJ Srl giving birth to a single solid reality committed to harmonizing tactile codes to reference technical standards most used in Italy.
The new model of tactile codes merged also with a new technology, suitable for vocalization, called
RFG “Radio Frequency Ground”
The Radio Frequency Ground Tag was programmed and industrialized along with a new tactile ground profile called "Loges-Vet-Evolution" aks "LVE", suitable for the creation of advanced vocalized tactile paths for blind and visually impaired people.
After many experiential tests conducted with blind users, the system shown to have those peculiar characteristics perfect for the concrete needs of users ambulation.
Dont' stop me now!
Strolling through the hectic world of hardware and software.
The company develops fast responses to the technological needs of people with visual issues, allowing them to use our technology in an increasingly free way, daily updated and implemented thanks to precious human resources. A way to combine the understanding of the dynamics of autonomous mobility with the ambitions of users with important insights on social issues and technological trends.
Today this system and its logic, recognized and adopted by the major national transport authorities, is a symbol of mobility in our country, and starts to receive appreciation beyond our borders.
We proudly share our technology and know-how with partners and distributors who have and will collaborate with us in the development of such technology. A profound commitment to improve what today we have in our hands;
Our technology received also a great recognition at United Nations headquarters in Wien where assistive technologies for different disabilities were present from all over the world. Thanks to this technology, our company distinguished itself by receiving an award as innovative best practice for accessibility systems sensory present on the globe.
Let us play!
Piazzle is born! A puzzle full of colours.
