T-Paso integrated signals and tactile paving system was designed in accordance with AENOR - UNE 127029 regulatory standards.
The special innovation of this system consists in providing the person with visual disabilities with both the classic tactile information and the chance to receive voice information on the exact contact point if the path is equipped with appropriately set RFG tags.
To ensure a safe movement and autonomy to blind and visually impaired people, the physical environment must be compatible with their orientation needs. To move in space, the blind or visually impaired person uses some signals called natural guides, which allow them to orient themselves in full autonomy in specific environmental situations. Examples of natural guides can be a curb of the pavement perceivable with the feet or with the stick, or also an acoustic signal of attention, or even a wall that borders a space.
The tool that allows sensory accessibility to places and spaces for public access and use is the system of tactile indicators on the ground called I.T.T.
