The T-Route integrated tactile signaling system is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the technical standards NF P98-351 and NF P98-352.
The specific innovation of this system is to provide visually impaired people with both tactile and vocal information (only in places where the vocal service has been activated).
The environment must be compatible with the orientation needs of visually impaired people to ensure their safety and independence of movement. People who are blind or have low vision also use cues called natural guides to orient themselves as they move. Some examples of natural guidance are the edge of the sidewalk, perceivable with your feet or with a white cane, a sound warning signal, a wall marking a space.
The tool that allows sensory access to places and public spaces are the Tactile Soil Surface Indicators (TGSI).
